Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and song writer. Many people know her from her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings however, her passion for music. It is her primary passion. It is something she has been dabbling at since she was 9 years old. As she grew to the age of 12 the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she began professional training. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her first album of songs at age 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Although she spoke only English as a child and not been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic heritage. She endeavours to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish and writing songs in the Spanish language. She recorded the Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia received four "yeses" by the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage after being selected from her YouTube submission. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she as well as three female vocalists were placed in the final auditions in "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated at conclusion of the fifth performance.
