Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Later, in 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three and she continued to live there throughout in the adolescent years and childhood. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
