David Muir is an American anchor and journalist most well-known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir and for the ABC News magazine 20/20, for which he serves as a co-anchor. His show with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and his animated gestures has been voted the top broadcast in America. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer.
