Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first job was as a photo assistant. She then moved on to modelling and acting. She was noticed in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame and an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater.
